- SW Queensland – Geological Survey of Queensland 2014
- Spinifex biogeochemical study in the Simpson Desert. Three styles of mineralisation identified:
- suture-related Cu-Au mineralisation
- epithermal and possible phorphyry style Cu-Au
- REE, HFSE, PGE, Au, Cu, Sc mineralisation in carbonatite-phoscorite intrusions
- Recognised that the carbonatite-phoscorite intrusions were part of a Devonian aged plume track that extended from central NSW to the Northern Territory. W Queensland.
- Plume track responsible for shoshonite Au-Cu mineralisation at Northparkes and Cowal
- Fiji – Golden Island Resources Pty Ltd. 2013 – Present
- Tectonic model and geochemistry to discover shoshonite source of hosted high-grade Au and Ag (up to 35 g/t) on Waya and Wayasewa in Fiji.
- Using reprocessed magnetic and gravity data discovered a previously unknown ~40 km diameter Au-bearing shoshonite caldera south of Tavua caldera.
- Developed a sound understanding of geodynamic control on shoshonite/adakite magmatism that has global exploration application.
- South Australia – Exco, 2014
- Gold prospectivity assessment – White Dam area.
- Recognised geochemical vectors that improved understanding of mineralisation style.
- North Queensland – Chinalco Yunnan Copper Resources Limited, 2013
- Discovered the ~1526 Ma ultra-potassic ultramafic source of Cu-Au-Co-REE-U mineralisation in the Mary Kathleen Belt, NW Queensland.
- Demonstrated that mineralisation is not skarn, it is orthomagmaic and epithermal.
- These ultra-potassic intrusions also responsible for the ~1526 Ma IOCG mineralisation in the Cloncurry Belt.
- Yilgarn Block, Yarri Range Project, China Mining Limited, 2013
- Delivered an independent geologist report for the Yarri Range Project based on knowledge of the deposit and independent study results.
The report indicated the Yarri Range area has high prospectivity for the future discovery of significant mesothermal (Archaean) gold mineralization.
- NSW Kayrunnera Prospect, Goodrich Resources Ltd, 2013
- Assessment of the kimbberlite indicator mineral chemistry for the Kayrunnera Prospect. The report including detailed recommendations on suggested next step investigations to extract maximum information regarding the diamond prospectivity.
- Fiji – Viti Mining Pty Ltd. 2013 – Present
- Identified the source and mineralisation style of world-class very high-grade Mn mineralisation (DSO) on Viti Levu, Fiji.
- Showed that mineralisation is hydrothermal and is associated with epithermal alteration above Au,Ag,Cu bearing shoshonite intrusions
- Gabon and Republic of Congo – Waratah Resources, 2012
- Prospectivity assessment of Gabon based on comparison with tectonic terranes and mineral deposits in Brasil
- North Korea – SRE Minerals Limited, 2012
- Petrology and geochemistry of carbonatites and nepheline syenites in North Korea. Recognition that they are plume generated and are located in a Triassic back-arc basin.
- Sweden – ASERA Iron Project, 2012
- Used Fe oxide geochemistry to show that orthomagmatic Fe-Ti-V the mineralization at Lake Vätten is hosted by an anorogenic anorthosite intrusion and not an IOCG.
- Sweden – Providence Natural Resources, 2012
- Site visit and recommendations for a lithium pegmatite project at Järkvissel in Central Sweden.
- Fiji – Triton Gold, 2012
- Geochemical assessment and interpretation of Au and Mn on Viti Levu.
- Kenya – Pacific Wildcat Resources, 2010-2011
- Fieldwork in Kenya, sampled diamond core from the Mrima Hill carbonatite and also associated nepheline bearing syenites in nearby intrusions.
- Enabled the identification of new zones of mineralization for a subsequent RC and DD drilling program.
- Australia – Murrumbo Rare Metals 2010 to 2011
- Provided geological expertise to allow acquisition of more than 8,000 square km of REE and speciality metal tenements in Australia.
- Discovered a new rift-related mineral province in N.S.W.
- Australia – Strategic Elements P/L 2010
- Identified speciality metals exploration targets in Australia, Africa and Brazil.
- Identified numerous heavy rare earth bearing nepheline syenite bodies in NSW and two in Queensland.
- Solomon Islands – UNIQUEST & Solsearch Ltd., 1998 – 2004
- Discovered ultra-deep xenoliths (>400 km) and involved in diamond exploration on Malaita.
